Catering

We are a fully catered facility and specialize in providing quality “home style” meals for all our groups. Morning / afternoon teas and suppers are included unless you choose to BYO (Youth rate only)

We are happy to discuss different meal and menu options etc to fit in with the requirements or needs of your group. Please ask if you require something different.

Charges for groups staying in 2010

There are three separate cost structures and within each structure there is a sliding scale of charges based on the number of people you bring. Our fees include accommodation, all meals, and the use of on site facilities. Charges exclude staff instructed activities. See below for the charges relating to these.

 

Standard Rate:
This is the lower cost option where members in your group help with setting and clearing tables and washing dishes. We will do all the catering for you and serve your meals from the servery.

Conference Rate
For those that want more service, we will set the tables for you and do all the dishes. We will do all the catering and serve you conference meals buffet style.

Youth Rate

This is a singe price option if more than 45% of your group is made up of intermediate or primary school aged children. Members in your group help with setting and clearing tables and washing dishes. We will still do all the catering for you and serve your meals from the servery. If you want to save some money there is the option of bringing your own food for AM / PM teas and suppers. We will still do drinks for you.

If you pay before you leave you will receive a 5% discount off your camp fees
(Discount is off camp fees only. Transport and / or extras will be charged at the quoted price)

Unless pre-arranged with the manager for weekend groups the first meal we provide is supper on Friday night and the last meal is lunch on Sunday. We are happy to discuss other options to suit your program should you require it.

Camp instructors are charged out at $25.00 per instructor per hour for the activities that require instructors
 

If you are bringing a caravan, motor home or just want a tent site we are happy to give you a discount.


All groups are required to clean up rooms and areas that have been used at the conclusion of their stay.
If you want us to do this for you the charge is $5.00 per person.

Activities

Group Supervised Activities - Activities that are available anytime during your stay. Adults from your group will need to supervise the confidence course and swimming pool. Before these activities can be used the supervising adult will be given instructions on the safe operation of them.

Camp Supervised Activities
- Activities that need to be arranged before your visit to camp. Camp staff will instruct these higher risk activities. All staff have been trained in their safe operation and will instruct them as per camp policies. Instructors for these activities are charged out at $25.00 per instructor per hour.

Health & Safety

The Board of Directors and the Camp Staff of Teapot Valley Christian Camp are committed to the safety and the well being of every person using this camp and its employees. There is always a possibility of injury at any campsite. The Board and Staff of Teapot Valley Christian Camp are committed to making camp as safe as possible for you without restricting your enjoyment of the experiences camp has to offer. With this in mind every activity or program has a written policy outlining the potential hazards or risks and the rules and guidelines to eliminate or minimise the risk to those involved with that activity or program. Within the first hour of your arrival your host will go through the emergency procedures. The group will be shown the boundaries, supervised and non-supervised activities, hazards and assembly points in case of an emergency.
